GutSense Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the GutSense app, published by Kindcraft Studio ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Important — GutSense is not medical advice. The app is a food and symptom diary that shows statistical patterns in what you log. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, including IBS, food intolerance or allergy. Trigger percentages and risk scores are estimates and can be wrong. Do not change your diet in a way that could harm you, and never use the app for food allergies. Seek medical help for severe, persistent or new symptoms such as blood in stool, unexplained weight loss, fever or severe pain.

1. Who can use GutSense

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the app.

2. Your data

Your diary is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and for making backups if you want them (Settings → Export backup). If you delete the app or your data, we cannot recover it. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

3. AI meal analysis

When available, the AI meal scan estimates a dish's ingredients and likely trigger groups from a photo or description. Results may be incomplete or wrong — always check and correct them. Hidden ingredients vary between recipes and restaurants.

4. GutSense Pro subscriptions

Pro is offered as an annual or monthly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple account. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel them in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies.
We may change features or prices for future billing periods; any price change will be communicated as required by the store.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no attempts to disrupt the AI service or bypass purchase checks, and no use that breaks the law.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text and illustrations belong to us or our licensors. Your diary entries belong to you.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any health decisions you make based on the app, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it (remember to cancel any subscription in your store account).

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
